This program came to birth in my mind when I was reading some email. A friend on one of the mailing lists I subcribe to asked all who could help to send a card of encouragement and support to a friend of hers who was not doing too well. Immediately I grabbed my card box. I expect some of you (maybe not all) to understand and share the sheer joy of doing something and asking for nothing in return. It was that feeling that drove me to start this program. Soon whenever I saw an address being posted of an unwell or troubled soul I jotted it down and grabbed a card. Maybe it's just me, I don't know, but I love the feeling of cheering a total stranger up. Who knows, You might just get to meet that person one day and find out that YOUR card made THE difference.
What this program is aimed to do is not necessarily network Pagans but to let everyone receive and send special *physical* cards from around the world. If you wish to participate you will need to know the following:
1. When you submit your information and details to the ROSE program you are agreeing to comply to do the things that this program requires of you to do, which is to send a decent card (come on, no sloppy paper-type things disguised as a card ok?) back to the person who first sends you one. *note: the word cards here mean the real thing, cardboard with envelope, not e-cards*
2. You are allowing me to give your address to those who intend on sending you a card.
3. Your email address will be displayed along with your name and the country you reside in but your postal and/or physical address information will be kept totally safe and secret unless someone who intends on sending you a card emails me asking for it. I will ONLY give your address out if someone intends on sending you a card and to NO OTHER so it's totally safe and secure.
I know that most of the witches that fly online are American but I encourage all those from different parts of the world to join, this is a world wide card exchange and it wouldn't be the same without the rest of the world. *PS. I'm not American and I have enjoyed sending cards to the States* If you agree to the points above and understand what you are required to do then press "Join". You will be taken to a submition form to fill out. If you are still a bit confused about the program and your duties then press "Wait" and you will be taken to a Question form to fill out to ask me anything you don't understand.
