This is a webring for ANY metal band. (This includes: your own band, underground/unsigned bands, local bands, etc.) When I say the words "ANY metal band", I DO mean ANY, for example: industrial metal, gothic metal, thrash metal, black metal, heavy metal, etc. Some examples of bands are: Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Pantera, Fear Factory, HIM, Coal Chamber, Korn, Godsmack, Deftones, Drain STH, Kittie, Orgy, Powerman 5000, Slipknot, Nine Inch Nails, System Of A Down, Static-X, My Ruin, Anna Thema, Jack Off Jill, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Acidbath, Clown, Soil, Crisis, Kidney Thieves, Genitorturers, etc. you get the point...
1.) MAKE SURE YOU read the paragraph above first!
2.) If the band u have a site about isn't listed above in the paragraph, then that's ok, just as long as its some metal band.
3.) NO Limp Bizkit sites!!! I don't like Limp Bizkit or Fred Durst anymore, so if you have a site about one of these, you are not in the ring. I used to like them before Fred became an asshole & before Limp Bizkit started sucking. Wes was the only awesome member.(meaning: the chocolate starfish album SUCKS! However, the 3 dollar bill album was GREAT & Significant Other was so-so)
4.) If you happen to have a Wes Borland site, or a 'Big Dumb Face' site, then PLEASE JOIN!!!
5.) NO PORN OR HATE SITES! NO ANTI SITES ALLOWED!
6.) Males & Females are allowed to join.
7.) ANYTHING relating to metal music is allowed to join! (meaning magazines or zines or clothes, etc.)
8.) You HAVE to have an active web site, if it becomes inactive it will be deleted. By the way...if your into pop or rap, DON'T BOTHER joining this ring. Your site will be deleted. What's the point in letting an N'Sync fan site or a "teenybopper" join this webring when we have opposite interests? Sorry, but it just looks weird.
9.) If any changes occur to your website address, you MUST login with your site info you get when you join the webring. (The info that is mailed to you.) I AM NOT responsible for keeping up with YOUR info. If your site is planning on "dying" or has "died" then, you must email me & tell me, that way I can delete your site from the ring. If you NEVER act responsible for your site being in the ring, your site will also be deleted.
10.) If your site is a personal site, it has to be creative, unique, weird, or strange. Individuality ROCKS! I don't give a damn how good at HTML you are, just as long as you have an interesting site. However, you MUST like metal to join this ring.
11.) E-zines & diaries are welcome, but must relate to #10 in some way.
12.) Band sites & fan sites are welcome. Local bands, international bands, etc. are allowed, but must be a metal band or fan site.
13.) Be respectful, open-minded, opinionated, aggressive, strong, etc. Not that you have to be all of these, but like I said this webring is different as you can tell. If you surf another webring members site, respect them & enter their site with an open-mind. Be aggressive if they get aggressive with you.....yeah, I think you get the point now.
14.) All religions, races, genders, etc. are welcome! I love My Ruin & other things that have to do with the band, so if your site relates to that in any way, feel free to join.
15.) Ranting/Rambling & poetic sites are welcomed also, but MUST relate to metal in some way.
16.) Don't BASH or HARASS another member's site. It is considered "rude & immature" behavior. Your site will be deleted from the webring, if a member complains that you've been harassing them. Also...Do NOT argue with people on their views of topics. If you don't agree with it, at least be open-minded & respect their opinions.
17.) Just be a good webring site & you'll be in the webring forever or for as long as you want to be in the ring. This means, email me of being temporarily closed, re-designing, or being in the process of making the site. If your web site or email address changes, email me about the changes also.
18.) GIVE A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS WHEN JOINING THE RINGS! IF YOU DO NOT, I WILL DELETE YOUR SITE! I need a valid email in case I want to contact you about your site, meaning: I may love your site soooo much I wanna tell you how awesome it is or that your site is being deleted for a certain reason due to the fact that you didn't read the fucking rules.
19.) You MUST have a link of some sort to the webring or to this site!!! (https://www.angelfire.com/realm/xlollirottenx/index.html) If you do not, you WILL be deleted. NEVER take the link down for any reason, I will check every 3 months to be sure it is still up, if not, your site WILL be deleted.
DO NOT JOIN IF:
1.) The site must NOT contain porn of any sort.
2.) NO Hate sites! No "Anti" Sites!
3.) Your site is rascist, sexist, etc. any form of 'ist'.
4.) Your page is about you & NOTHING else, but you. NO completely self-centered sites, at least have something for the guests to do.
5.) NO "wannabes"!!! This means no teenybopper acting like they like the same things as others in this webring. (I can tell teenyboppers from "real" people anytime!)
6.) No rap sites! I don't want some "pimp wannabe" or "pimp", in general, to join this site & act like he or she likes the same things as the other members in this ring. (I can tell those people from the "real" people.)
7.) If your site is a dead link, doesn't exist, has said "goodbye" to the viewers of the page, hasn't been updated in 3 months, then DO NOT join! It's POINTLESS! (not to mention USELESS!)
8.) If your site moves, temporarily closes, or re-designs your site then EMAIL me. (see the 'tips' page for my email)
9.) KEEP ME UPDATED ON YOUR SITE STATUS A.K.A. BEING A GOOD WEBRING MEMBER! (meaning logging into webring with your site ID & updating your information like a moving of your site, etc.) DO NOT LEAVE ME IN DEAD AIR WONDERING WTF HAPPENED TO YOUR SITE!!! IF YOU DO THIS, I WILL DELETE YOU FROM THE RING! IT'S NOT MY DAMN JOB TO KEEP UP WITH "YOUR" SITE! YOU ARE IN THE RING WHICH MEANS YOU WILL ABIDE BY THE RULES!
10.) If your site is in the process of being built, email me & LET ME KNOW, when it will be up. If it's not up within 2 months, it will be deleted from the ring.
