Welcome to Eriador! We are part of an organization known as Belegarth Medieval Combat Society. Belegarth MCS turns medieval warfare into a safe full contact sport. In battle we use foam-boffers(padded weapon replicas). Eriador is an alliance of foam fighting realms located in Iowa. We feast, fight, and have fun together but realms maintain independent governments. The concept for Eriador was proposed in the Summer of 2002 by Xipher, ratified and named by founding realms Nan Belegorn and Tir Asleen in the Fall of 2002.
