Two weeks in Japan
(friends and music...)
This year, my oldest
daughter and I had the rare opportunity to visit Japan.
Actually, it was my
husband's crazy idea. Eleanor is considering a career field that might involve
living there, and he figured that it might be a good idea for her to get a taste
of what she might be getting herself into. Since I was the one of us who had been
studying the language, and who had several internet friends over there, I was logically the
parent to accompany her. We are not
rich people by any stretch of the imagination, but with a bit of scrimping and
saving and a whole lot of support from the family we managed to pull it off...
To everyone we met there, I
cannot thank you enough for all you did. It was truly a trip to remember!
Here's a day by day account of the journey...
