Macross 7 movie: ......... Galaxy Is Calling Me

Macross 7 Dynamite OVAs .. (4 episodes)

Macross 7 takes place in the year 2045, thirty five years after the original Macross series. Like the original series, this is a mecha show. However, if you come to this series looking for mecha fights, you may be disappointed. While this show has plenty of fighting, it's not about fighting. It's about peace.

It's 2045, and Max and Myria (from the original Macross series) are in charge of a Macross colony fleet, Macross 7. Myria is mayor of City 7, Max is head of the fleet military, while their youngest daughter, Mylene (age 14) has just joined a rock band.

It's Mylene's first concert as a member of Fire Bomber, and the group's lead singer, Basara Nekki, has finally shown up on stage with them, when suddenly the fleet is attacked by an unknown enemy. Everyone runs for the bomb shelters, except for Viffidas, the band's drummer (who seems to enjoy all the chaos), and Basara. Instead, Basara runs to a VF-19 valkyrie and flies off into the middle of the battle......... to sing.

This wonderful story about peace through the power of music, hasn't yet been released officially in the United States. Right now, it can only be found through import videos and fansub groups.

Fire Bomber's music was released on several CDs. Please, check out the discography page for more information.
