Regarding the Macross 7 images used on this site: I don't remember where I got them from. They are screen capture images that appear on a lot of different sites... and I've been to a lot of different sites. If you recognize by file name one of the images as being from your site, let me know so I can give you proper credit. Thanks.

Journal

December 30, 2002: Three songs added to translations today and two songs added to songs to ponder yesterday. Also, a last minute announcement about Fukuyama-san's just planned yesterday New Years Countdown Live. It looks like it'll be fun. Wish I was there. Well, everyone, enjoy your New Year's celebration, and may next year be a good one for you. -peace-

December 25, 2002: Merry Christmas, everyone!
Since last time I've added a few more song translations this month, including two today. Also, added another lyrics link - this time a Japanese site with translations! The live appearances page was updated earlier this week. And... we hit the 5,000 hits mark already! That was a big surprise! One more week until the new year. Two more weeks until this sites first anniversary, January 8th. The time passes so quickly!

Were you all able to catch the Macross 20th anniversary broadcast earlier this month? Live "Angel Voice".... sigh... so cool! I watched the broadcast three times. Missed the first time because of work. Well, on we go to the new year.... Fire!
-peace-

December 2, 2002: December already... very soon will be Christmas. (smile)
Today I  finally added the Humming Bird singles to the Discography page. I also added a couple more song translations: "hi damari no tenshi" and "King Gainer - Over!". Also, updated the links page with the new URL for Fukuyama-san's official site. It's a busy day, but hopefully I"ll be able to do more soon. As always... a prayer for peace

November 27, 2002: This is the page that used to be called "Updates". I had effectively abandoned this page, favoring listing current updates
on the front page instead until Shiro-san pointed out that my updates page needed updating. (laugh) However, this page has its uses, so I've now re-dubbed it "Journal". Much has been happening with me in the month of November, not all of it good, but thanks to my friends here and around the world, I've managed to hang on to what little thread of sanity I had. I've never really had much. (laugh)

Anyhow, on the website... song translations and more song translations, and another going up after I get home from work today! (Thank you Shiro-san!) Also, thanks to my daughter, Eleanor, who's now an occasional contributor to the translations page and thanks to my email friends in Japan, who sometimes explain to me things I don't understand about their language.

Fukuyama-san has been very busy these days. Still working on his new album which will be coming out next spring (a slight delay...) and busy with several other projects too. I've ordered the Macross 20th Anniversary album and King Gainer single. .. going up to Seattle to get them next Friday. Check out the newly renamed Discography for details after that. Fukuyama-san has two concerts coming up next Saturday. He's going to sleep well after that! Details on the second concert will also go up this evening. I've got to get ready for work now. Till next time... peace

October 7, 2002: several song translations added this week.  More coming.

September 29, 2002: added song to lyrics page.

September 28, 2002: added a couple more songs to the lyrics page.

September 27, 2002: lots of updates today. added a discography with the album song lists - see CD review. also, thanks to Shiro-san, we've added 4 more songs to the lyrics page! (yeah!) That page had been neglected for too long. Anyhow, its now 1:30 am. I have to work in few hours. Good night. peace

September 24, 2002: updated main and news pages. Also, I was able to add a song to the Lyrics page, thanks to a contributor on the BBS named Shiro. \ (^v^) /

September 18, 2002: revamped the Japanese language main page.

September 14, 2002: Today is Fukuyama-san's 39th birthday. I added another group to the profile pages.

September 8, 2002: Today I added to the concert schedule and CDs sections of the Fukuyama-san site. Also this weekend, added some links to Lets Talk Music, and a couple sections in General Banter. The background in the "Thoughts" section of General Banter  was made by my second daughter. I thought it was pretty cool... and just trippy enough to match my thoughts.  ...peace...

September 3, 2002: This week I've been busy adding lots of links to the "Let's talk music" page. I also started and opened the "General Blather" page. That's where I'm putting everything that is not directly music related. I've made a few changes to the front ("Welcome") page and a few  changes and additions... Enjoy :) ...peace...

August 27, 2002: Added a link to the Links pages. Also added more to the Let's Talk Music site: got the official artists links and fan links pages going. Also more records added to the "My Collection" lists. I may finish up the LP records today. Next week: the 45s!

August 25, 2002: Changed the opening page and the Let's talk music page. Added a link to the BBS from the "main" pages. Started another page called "General Blather". That's where I'll be putting things not related to Fukuyama-san or music. peace

August 12, 2002: added to the concert schedule page. Also, I've finally started the record, etc. lists on the top page of Let's Talk Music BBS. I have over 1,000 records, and I don't know how many tapes and CD I have. It'll take me well into October to finish... but there's over 100 titles up today to start. Enjoy! *peace*

August 5, 2002: Somehow, up to now, I have managed to neglect adding the official Macross site to my links. Well, today, I fixed that. It's been added. Also added something to the concert schedule page. Fukuyama-san is busy this month!

August 2, 2002: added August 3 - 4 concerts to the concert schedule page. A little short notice, but it wasn't announced on Fukuyama-san's site until August 1st. Fukuyama-san posted the information himself on his BBS.

July 28, 2002: only a little update this time - I added the new Sakura Con banners.

July 21, 2002: Added a message board, "Let's talk music!" Also, added a comment to the info about the Meriken CD and played a little more. Enjoy!

July 16, 2002: Added to the profile pages, and played a little with color. I can't get the color on the Japanese profile page to cooperate fully... (sigh)

July 15, 2002: I've been playing again. This time, changed the top page. I hope you like it. Let me know what you think (good or bad) at alinda98418@yahoo.com

July 14, 2002: Big update on Concert Schedule page. I also added another link.

July 9,2002: Added to CD reviews and the "other Humming" member info.

July 2, 2002: Today I finally finished up some of the promised updates on the Japanese pages. I also made a correction to the info on the news page. peace...

July 1, 2002: Finished adding the Kirenjaku record to the Japanese language CD Review page. Also, I put my favorite poem, Desiderata, up for everyone to enjoy. The background image I used is really cute space scene created by my next to youngest child. That can be accessed from my personal profile pages (Alinda Sue?). Have a nice day!                                     -peace-

June 29,2002: A few updates this week: added Sakura Con 2003 info. Today I updated the English CD Review page and the other Humming Bird member info page. I plan to do the Japanese versions tomorrow.

June 19, 2002: updated the "Mojo Lounge" info on the profile pages. Several updates coming soon... hopefully I'll get them done this weekend.

June 9, 2002: A couple times this week, I updated the site and forgot to update this page. This week, I added a couple news sections - one about Fukuyama-san related news and one about the other two former Humming Bird members, who have been quite busy lately! Check it out!

I've also found a few more links to song translations. If I get a chance, they'll go up on the lyrics page today. If not, then I'll do it tomorrow morning. And, I hope to soon also have Japanese language versions of the news pages.

-peace-

June 1, 2002: concert schedule page updated

May 31, 2002: added a few new links to the Links pages.  As always, peace...

May 28, 2002: added Kirenjaku to the profile pages. Baltan-san let me hear a small sample of the band's music. They were very good! Unfortunately, the one record put out by the group is probably even harder to find than Hummingbird's "EGM Live". (sigh) Well, anyway, take a look... and while you're at it, check out Baltan-san's page. I've even included a link. There's some pretty cool pictures there!         -peace -

May 26, 2002: added a really cool link, Baltan's Music Paradise, to the links pages.  Enjoy!

May 19, 2002: Today's update was an easy one. One of my favorite songs on the new Wild Vox album is sung in English! "I'm Free" has been added to the lyrics page.

May 18, 2002: I finally got "mizutama no kaba" up on the lyrics page. My Japanese is limited, but hopefully I've done well enough for you to get the general idea of what it's about. It's cute song. Enjoy!      ...peace...

May 14, 2002: It's been a busy weekend. The "Sakura Con report in Japanese" project turned out to be much larger than I expected, but I'm now essentially finished. I may add a few more pictures if I get them, but it's fully ready for the public now. I'm happy with how it turned out. Please, take a look here or it can be accessed from the front page as you come into the site next time.

I'm taking a break from the computer for a while (well, a few minutes anyhow...) so it'll probably be next weekend before I add "mizutama no kaba" to the lyrics page. In the mean time, please enjoy the Sakura Con report and the fun I've been having with color on this site. ^o^  peace

May 11, 2002: I just got the new Wild Vox CD! I've updated the CD review pages and the links page. Also, I'm still playing with style and menu changes. Please, sign my guest book and tell me what you think.

Current projects: I'm getting more pictures for my "Sakura Con report in Japanese" page today, so hopefully I'll get something more up today or tomorrow. Also, I've translated a really cute song off of "Timeless" called "mizutama no kaba" (Polka-dot Hippo). I'll get it up as soon as I have time to type it out. Have a great day!   peace...

May 7, 2002: mostly I've been playing with style. I'm back to studying HTML, etc now that things have slowed down a bit. I started a Japanese language review of last week's Sakura Con. There's not much to it yet. My pictures didn't turn out very good, so I'm waiting for some from friends who said I could use theirs.

I've ordered the new Wild Vox CD (see below). More on it when it comes in. Not much gets shipped out of Japan during Golden Week, so I'm expecting a little delay. Hopefully, it'll come later this week...

BTW, This site had its 1000th visitor last weekend! I didn't expect it so fast! Thank you all for coming! \ (^o^) /
peace

April 30, 2002: today added quite a bit to the concert schedule page and "Timeless" to the CD Review pages.

Aqua Entertainment finally got back to me. I should be getting the Wild Vox album "yasei no kaze - Winds of Wild" sometime in the next week or so. More on that when it comes in.

Sakura Con ended last Sunday night. This year we had over 2,200 people! There are several people putting up report pages in the next couple weeks although most of them will be in English. After I get my film developed, I'll attempt to create a report in Japanese because I feel there is a need for it. I don't know yet if I'll do an English version or just a list of links to other sites.  More later...   peace

April 21, 2002: added two concerts to the Concert Schedule page and a little info to the CD Review pages.

April 15, 2002: Added what information I have on the new Wild Vox CD to the CD Review pages. More info coming, probably next weekend. Last Friday, I added another link - an interesting Japanese sight called "Kono Sora no Shita ni". This last weekend, I played around with different background graphics, but I discovered that they get in the way of the translation service some of the visitors here use, so for now I've reverted back to the plain background.

Sakura Con is in just 10 days. With four con staff members in our house, it's pretty busy around here right now. In the midst of all this, I'm waiting (not so patiently) for the 20th when the Wild Vox CD goes on sale and the order info is up! Besides that, I'm enjoying the colors of spring and the five new wind chimes  I've added to my collection.

You also, please, have a good day...

peace

April 11, 2002: Added a link and added something to the main page.

April 7, 2002: Updated the CD review pages, corrected the spelling of Chie Kajiura-san's name, did some work on the Japanese page menus, and set my clock forward an hour for Daylight Savings Time. Today the site had its 500th visitor. I'm excited! Have a great day! :)

March 29, 2002: Added the official home page of former Humming Bird member, Shoichiro Aso-san's,  new band, Meriken to the Links page.

March 26, 2002: Added sitemeter to all the pages (It was already on the opening page) so I could  track use a little better.

March 22, 2002: Today I fixed some names in the Concert Schedule page and added an interesting site to the Links pages.

March 17, 2002: It's been  weird the last few days. Here it is, four days till the beginning of Spring and we've been having snow. I think we've had more winter since March started than we did all winter! Today, it's sunny with snow on the ground. Anyone who knows anything about the Tacoma - Seattle area, knows this isn't normal weather.

I bought the Hamster Club CD. It brings to mind the time when I first saw a picture of Fukuyama-san on the internet. A friend, who was with me at the time, said, "Sounds like Freddy Mercury.  Looks like Brian May." For those few who don't know, he was referring to members of the rock band, Queen. I later found out that Fukuyama-san likes Queen.  Apparently, so does Rui Nagai,  the man who produced  and wrote most of the songs on the Hamster Club CD. The whole album has a Queen flavor to it,  and Fukuyama-san's song, "Make My Day", is probably the most Queen-like of the bunch.

Anyhow, I've added that album to the CD Review pages (English and Japanese). I've also added a Wild Vox concert to the Concert Schedule page.

I'm working on a friends computer while mine is down (temporarily, I hope). Between that and the fact that Sakura Con is in just 6 weeks, I may be a bit slow on the updates for a while, but I'll try to keep up.

BTW, if you're interested, Kataoka-san has just uploaded another Fukuyama video, "Miracle Sky",  to his Humming Bird Explosion! page.  Check it out in Links...

-peace-

March 12, 2002: made a Japanese version of the CD review page. Later today, I pick up the Hamster Club CD. I'll add it to CD reviews sometime tonight or tomorrow after work.

March 3, 2002: Updated the Links page, removed a dead link and added a link to Masahito Ushijima-san's page. Ushijima-san is the other half of Wild Vox.  Listen to him on his page (real audio). He has a nice voice.

March 2, 2002: added a concert to the live page. The last couple weeks have been kind of slow.  I made a couple minor spelling corrections  in the last couple weeks, but I don't consider that to count as an update.

Plans for the near future... I've ordered the Hamster Club CD with Fukuyama-san singing "Make My Day". I heard a piece of it over the internet. It sounds cool! I'm looking forward to getting the CD. It'll be added to CD reviews as soon as it arrives. Also, there is, theoretically, a Wild Vox CD coming out the end of March. The exact release date hasn't been announced yet. You can be sure that when it is announced, Kinokuniya will be hearing from me with my order!

Also, I plan to add a couple more links this week... *peace*

Week of February 16, 2002: finished the Japanese language version of the profile page, added junglecity.com to the links pages, corrected a number on the Macross 7 page, and added a "last updated" date to the index page. I did something else too, I think, but I can't remember...

February 9, 2002: This week, I added Sansei's to the profile page, redid the Japanese main page, and added a little info to the Macross 7 page. I also did something stupid and vain...I created a page that tells a little about myself.

February 3, 2002: Been busy the last week updating everything but the updates page. A friend gave us a copy of Office 2000. I discovered that Word 2000 accepts the Microsoft Global IME program that I use with IE to write in Japanese. The full version of FrontPage won't accept the IME input, BUT it does actually read the Japanese fonts and accepts cut and pasted Japanese from Word! I'm having FUN!

A lot of things have been updated. Among the highlights: The profile page has finally been finished. The webmaster of Fukuyama-san's home page answered my plea to the BBS for help reading some of the Mojo Lounge and Westcoast Doukoukai band member's names. I've also added a couple Japanese language pages. Menu's have been added to most pages so you don't have to keep hitting the BACK button to get around. I forget what else... Look around, have fun, and thanks for coming.
