Rainy Day
Chance Meeting
translation by Alinda Sue…
While spending an evening at a park, there is unexpected rain
and a chance meeting
You also forgot your umbrella
We gaze at the lights on a house
The house is adorned, with lively voices and good scents
Children are running through the door
Rain is… Rain is softly pouring down
If we look up at the sky,
the warm rain becomes tears
The rain paints a wonderful picture in the sandbox
If you squint, you can see it take the form of a white dog
Remembering a time in childhood when hit by rain
Selfishly I thought, is this the ultimate feeling?
Rain is… Rain is softly pouring down
If we look up at the sky,
the warm rain becomes tears
As
the rain passes through my soaked shirt, the tears do not stop
I won’t forget our chance meeting on this rainy day
Rain is… Rain is softly pouring down
If we look up at the sky,
the warm rain becomes tears
