BIS Int, Mex. CH. Blade's Blue Grass of Almaden
was the only Am Staff to win a "ALL
BREED BEST IN SHOW"
in Northern Calif. defeating 1,900
dogs.
International - Mexican - American Ch. Blade's Blue Grass of Almaden won an all-breed Best In Show in 1990 defeating 1,900 dogs. Blade was ranked No. 2 in the nation for 1990. Almaden Staffs has won "Best of Breed" 3 out of 4 times at the Northern California Terrier Specialty defeating 60 American Stafforshire Terriers from all over the Northwest. International - Mexican - American Ch. Spear's Eagleview of Almaden, CGC won stud dog class 1995 and 1996 and we won an "Award of Merit" at the Chicago National Specialty in 1994 where there were 300 AmStaffs in competition. Ch. Crystal Yasmin of Almaden is the Almaden foundation bitch and littermate to International-Mexican-American Best In Show Ch. Blade's Blue Grass of Almaden and she won veteran brood bitch at the Chicago National Specialty in 1994. She has produced many champions.
Almaden Staffs has 5 generations of champions on my property, we have champions in Europe - a Dutch Ch. Spear's Dutch Girly of Almaden (a beautiful Spear daughter). Also Almaden has an Am Staff on the Belgium canine force. Our bloodline is the Ruffian line and I'm pleased to announce I have 3 granddaughters out of the late great Ch. Red Rock of Har-Wyn and the only one in the United States.
"Mark" who starred in the movie *2 Days In the Valley*, is a son of BIS Ch. Blade's Blue Grass of Almaden and grandson of BISS Ch. Spear's Eagleview of Almaden.
Also Almaden was the first breeder to get a CD obedience title in Northern California. I have excellent temperaments, my staffs can run together and swim together.
