John Burke entered the picture in 'The Laughing Corpse'. An Animator, a Necromancer and one of the most powerful
vaudun priests in the country, he came to St Louis from New Orleans when his brother Peter was killed. Originally under
suspicion for raising the zombie that was running around and eating people, it soon became apparent that he had nothing
to do with it. His name was eventually cleared and he stayed in St Louis, taking a job at Animators Inc, and he even
managed to wriggle a date or two out of Anita. That particular relationship was, fortunately :) , doomed to failure since John
could not handle Anita being a better version of himself and it put him decidedly out of sorts....poor baby!!!
