Richard was introduced to us naked and in Jean Claude's bed with another werewolf, in 'Circus of The Damned'. With
longish soft and wavy brown
hair, deep brown eyes and permanently tanned skin, Anita's attraction to him was almost immediate. We all almost
swallowed
our tongues when she actually accepted a date with him. He was a kind of a stability for her when she needed it and even
when he turned out to be an alpha werewolf and in line to become Ulfric...she didn't let him go. The competition between
Richard and Jean Claude for Anita's affections has kept us occupied through many books. Recently, though, Anita and
Richard
have come to realize how unhealthy their relationship is for both of them and sadly the relationship has come to an end.
We
have all mourned this, but also most of us realize the necessity of this. They were slowly destroying each other. We will all
get to see more of this hunk of wolf even though he is no longer Anita's sweetie and we can enjoy him as the hunkly and
dominant force behind the Thronos Rokke Clan.
