TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP These are the following terms and conditions that and person wishing to sign up with this clan have to agree to, and will be fully bound to. Any breaches of these rules can and will result up to and including permanent ban from this gaming group. RECRUITMENT POLICIES 1.) Players that want to join should have a member’s recommendation before they join. It is not mandatory, but if you have a recommendation, it will speed the recruitment process. 2.) If you do not know any {AOD} members, it would be appreciated if you would play more often over battle.net & Counter-Strike servers where we are regulars (NCABLE) and get to know us before you decide to fill out a join form. 3.) Any applicant who decides to apply should be at least 15 years of age. We do NOT accept younger players. However, that does not mean that we do not make exceptions. There are some younger players out there, who are very mature and responsible people. The clan leaders will talk to you and see if you truly are mature enough or not. 4.) We tend to recruit experienced players rather than n00bz. This does not mean that we will accept you though. If you can prove yourself worthy enough, we will accept you. Though, you will need a YES from each leader involved. 5.) You are required to commit to {AOD}, if only for a few hours a week. This will give us some stability if we warring against other clans, knowing that we will usually have someone online to help one another out. If you cannot commit to {AOD}, you will be asked to leave the clan. You do not have to spend every dying moment playing online, but we would like it if you could spare at least 2-3 nights a week, more would be great, and at least 2-3 hours each time. 6.) A last: Training. You will be required to attend atleast 2 of 3 training sessions a week. If you miss more that 1 session, you need to explain why. RECRUITMENT PROCESS 1.) Each individual that wishes to be a member of this clan, will have to complete an initial form, and should have been referred by a current member of this clan. This will help speed the process of recruitment. 2.) Depending on you progress, the amount of times that you will be trialled will vary from 1 trial session to 6 trial sessions, each ranging from 60 minutes to 120 minutes. Rest assured, it will not be easy, and will be very vigorous and thorough. If you enter the clan before your 6 sessions of showing off your skills, ignore number 5.) 3.) During the period that you are to be trialled, you will be required to add t-| to your name, so that all members can identify that you are a trialling for this clan. *EXAMPLE* {AOD}~<member_name> t-| 4.) Each session will vary from a minimum of 1 hour to a maximum of 2 hours. After each session, BlackMagic will discuss with the other members who are watching your progress, to discuss your current, and past performances. Please do not ask the clan about your current performance, as we will not tell you. 5.) After the final session (number 6 and will also be a saturday night), BlackMagic will discuss with the other members involved in watching your progress and get a final report from each of them. 15 minutes after the final session, you will be contacted by BlackMagic, or one of the other leaders upon your status within the clan. If you do not make it, bad luck and try again later (not straight away!).The final session will take no longer than 90 minutes. 6.) Upon a successful trial period, and you are accepted into the clan, you will be required to add r-| to your name (this again is for identification purposes *EXAMPLE* {AOD}~<member_name> r-|). You will required to have this within your name for a period of 2 weeks. After the two weeks, and you have not been kicked from the clan, you will be given the clan spray logo, start off at rank "Private", you will not require to have r-| in your name anymore and your information will be added to the clan website. This is the most important time of the recruitment process, as a little mistake can result in a very harsh penalty, even as far as a permanent ban! BREACHES OF RULES 1.) If you are known to be inter-clanning, you will be suspended for a certain amount of time (the min being 1 month and max being a year). If this rule is broken once again, you will be suspended for an indefinite amount of time. If you are allowed back within this clans activities after your second suspension, and you break this rule again, you will be permanently banned from clan {AOD} 2.) If you are verbally abusing other players in every single game that you play, or 80% of the games that you play, you will be given a warning. If you continue to do this, you will suspended from the clan for a 2 weeks. If you still continue to do it, it will lead to you being permanently banned from clan {AOD} 3.) If you verbally insult other clan members, you will be given a stern warning, pending your membership. If you continue to do it, your membership will cease to exist. 4.) All players are required to have fun! SUMMARY In retrospect, the rules set out above are not to discourage fun, they are to create fun. Unfortunately some things that people see as being fun are totally the opposite to others, therefore this is to keep things in an orderly fashion so that we can have fun playing a game that we all enjoy and hopefully extend that fun into wins for the ourselves and the clan. Winning is not everything and even the best players lose sooner or later. Playing to the best of your abilities is the most fun for any one person, putting those skills together and creating a winning character, for everyone is the most fun for a group of friends. With respect, friendship, and some simple discipline we will keep the game alive for all members of the team and it will put {AOD} where they belong.....on top!
