thieves and other rouges that would pilfier thier kingdoms, woodlands
and fields. As these rouges would often band together, the common citizen
was unable to deal with the situation. Often in fear, just stood by helpless as
the Kings bounty was taken. The King(s) in order to put a stop to such activities
dispatched trained fighters, Knights, into the woodlands and fields to scout the
range in search of these bands of rouges. As often was the case these Knights
numbered only one or two per party so even they did not venture to far afield
or into battles that they were so out numbered. The knights grew strong in
their post reporting the location, strength and makeup of these bands to the
Kings. Orders of dispatch spread, as larger numbers of Knights saught out the
bands, dwindling their numbers and restoring the lands safely to the Kings
total control. These knights that so bravely performed this task, became
known as Rangers, and these very same Knights became the forefathers
of todays US Army Rangers. Keeping in the spirit of the days of old the OCR
Order of the Circle Rangers is hereby established within the Circle of the
Perfect Rose & Staff.
