While Xena: Warrior Princess is no longer being made, I'm still a huge fan. At least once a week I'll either visit a new site, write a bit of fan fiction, or pop in one of my favorite episodes that I taped.

My relationship with this obsession is kind of sad, really. A tragic tale of faith and the faithful. When it first aired on television, it was broadcast on the weekend, but on ABC, I believe. However, they hated it or something, and it moved to the WB network.

In my area, the WB was in its very infancy. The station had a horrible antenna and wasn't on cable! I had suddenly no way to watch anything more than the very first season, and I knew it had been picked up for another!

So, through the horrible fuzz and static, I tried to watch the show. It annoyed everyone in the house, but I stood my ground. I held on and tried to persevere. After about three episodes, I was forced to admit defeat.

Then the WB got themselves on cable! WOW! But I don't HAVE cable. My husband is a fervent admirer of all things FREE, so we pretty much are forced to stick with the 'normal' stations.

But the WB also got themselves off UHF and on to VHF! Suddenly, I could see the episodes, and the Xena world was opened back up. Ah, the joy! Season FOUR! So, of course, they changed the time it was shown. Then the day. Then they showed it on both weekend days, but at bizarre times of the day. I found it every time. I taped what I could, and laughed and cried as the show grew.

There were (and are) other obstacles. My husband hates it, as he hates all the fantasy and alternative programs I choose over his nasty sickly sweet sitcoms. But I won out, for the most part.

So, while I missed seasons 2 and 3, I still got a LOT. And here I am, still hanging on, even after it's gone. But when you love something, you stick to it.

Lucy Lawless as Xena: Warrior Princess

Hudson Leuck as Callisto, her arch-enemy.

As an Aries, I always felt Kevin did a superb job of capturing the spirit of the Greek god. There's a little less fire in the world tonight, but another star in the heavens.

The entire rest of this page is links to people who do the pictures, sounds, fan fiction, art, and who knows what all else for Xena. These are only a FEW of the pages I visit all the time, just to see what surprises they have in store for me.

Another Xena site you can't live without is:

Tom's Xena Page

Tom has a ton of sounds, pictures, movies, and links for all your Xena needs.
