We couldn't be happier with our performance. Everything seems to be coming together. Nevermind that we had help from one of the greatest hockey legends in history, Eddie Shore. Now, mind you that this is not THE Eddie Shore, but his grandson of the same name. If you ask me, you can see that hockey is truly in this man's blood. Old time hockey is back in town. We won tonight 6-3 against MDS computer systems, who have eluded us so far this season. MDS has beaten us twice before, once by a single goal, another by 3 goals. Truly, as I wrote before, we are the better team here. Bruce and I can't seem to stay out of the penalty box. I took a dumb penalty, I threw the puck at the net after the whistle, I didn't have any foul intentions, but the refs saw it differently and I ended up with my second misconduct penalty of the season. Bucky can't seem to stop scoring goals, I don't know what it is that he does, but he manages always to be so patient and just wait for the puck to come to him, and miraculously, it does. Needless to say that he scored another hat trick. Last week I forgot to mention John DeGray's hat trick. John last week played a great game adding two assists to the hat. This week, kudos go to Dwight, Jeff and Bucky... truly 3 playmakers. If all of us could pass and stickhandle as well as those guys, we'd be unstoppable. Once again, we had to deal with bad officiating as well... same old fart that seems to be more interested in watching his nose hair grow than making calls on the ice, except of course when the hawks are being called. We have two weeks off for the holiday season, so I won't be updating for a while, though I will try to find out the scores of other games so that I can keep you up to date on the standings.
