Can you say short-handed? The Hawks certainly can. Not only did Bucky have an awesome short-handed goal tonight, the Hawks had to play with only seven forward skaters for the first period, with Mike coming in for some much needed relief in the second and third persiods. We don't know where this Chiefs team came from, but they're certainly not the Chiefs of the past. They had some players we've never before seen the likes of. Jeff Schools. Need I say more? Awesome hat trick tonight, played a hell of a game. To the Chiefs credit as well, they played lights out in the first period, holding the game to a 1-1 tie. But we proceeded to stomp the bejeesus out of them when it came to crunch time. Speaking of crunches. Hopefully everyone saw Brian's goal tonight. What a supreme effort. Smacking and smacking at the puck in the crease until it went in, shortly followed by himself. Next week, we play MDS... They have kept us at bay in the past, but with our screw it attitude, I think we're unstoppable.
