Game five synopsis:
We shelled the poor nearly helpless Chiefs tonight. The Chiefs couldn't stop the laser passing of Dwight, Bucky, Jeff, John, and Hugh tonight. The Chiefs did manage to put quite a few shots on net, but Dave played extraordinary in net, making save after save. I'll hesitate to call him cat-like, but you get the point and Dave got the shut-out. Tonight's shut-out is the first shut out of the Hawks' history. Bruce, Joe, and Dave played excellent defense, watching the hanger and letting by only maybe one or two odd man rushes. The line of Bucky Dent, Aaron, and Dwight put up an impressive 6 goals combined tonight. While we almost felt bad for running up the score on the ragtag Chiefs, in the end we did it anyway. Next game promises to be much more difficult. "Come on down, bring the kids, there's entertainment for the whole family." Jim Carr, sports.
