What can we say, they kicked the hell out of us. Though we did play very well for the first half of the game or so. Dave was amazing in net for that first half, but obviously got tired and let in a few. We led two times during the game, but every time we had the lead, it didn't last long. Bruce was out with the "flu", personally, I think that's his code word for "his wife wouldn't let him out of the house". That left us short on defense tonight and it showed. Without a couple of lofty goals and some horrendous officiating AGAIN, we posted a pretty good game against these guys. Yes, once again, we had to deal with that freakin ref that refuses to call anything on any team other than us. The penalty count tonight was 4-1... obviously with us having four. It would be nice if we didn't have to face the same refs week after week. We did lose, but we played good, solid hockey with these guys. I'd venture to guess that we can beat them. If anyone is reading this page, and I suspect maybe one is, pleade inform Joe as soon as possible if you will not be able to make the game. It would really help if we could call up some reserves to help out when it gets tight like it did tonight.
