Conclusion

Overall, our gospel meeting was a success. The brethren made a major effort in inviting friends and family plus members of the local community to attend the meeting. We thought a meeting with members of the local congregation would give people an opportunity to meet and get to know us in addition to hearing a portion of God’s Word. Although we didn’t have many visitors, there was a strong turnout for each evening.

On a personal note, it gave me the opportunity to hear members preach that I hadn’t heard before plus be an encouragement to them as well as they to me. It is my desire to do this again, perhaps next year at the same time.
