Detroit, MI - Clutch Cargos
This was my first time seeing Factory 81. They headlined this show, because it was their home town, despite the fact Slaves on Dope was the headliner of the tour. Slaves On Dope and Unloco were really good, but Insolence sucked, and eventually F81 came out. Nate had on homemade PJ's because it was only like a week after he had mono, and said he wasn't feeling well. He still sang very well, just didn't seem to move around to much. I was in the front row closer to Kevin's side. They played mainly all the songs off of Mankind, as well as one new song, "May 1st", and it really made the band emotional. They ended the set with "Peace Officer" and everyone went nuts. After the show I met Bill, and seen Kevin, but he seemed busy so I left him alone.
