Chapter 18

At 9:14 p.m., Morgan Alexandra McLean was born, weighing in at 6 pounds, 3 oz, 20 inches long. She had her mother’s green eyes, and her father’s dark brown hair.

“She definitely takes after her father in the vocal department,” Jessie said, smiling up at AJ.

“At least she takes after her mother in the looks department,” Denise teased.

“Thanks, Mom! As long as she doesn’t have her mother’s temper, I think we will all be safe,” AJ laughed, indicating the taped fingers on his left hand, and leaned over to kiss his wife.

The rest of the BSB family was introduced to their new niece; not one of the Boys had a dry eye as they looked adoringly at the tiny baby girl.

Outside in the hall, Vivian took her husband’s hand, putting it on the swell of her belly. “How would you like to have a daughter, Kev?” she asked, with a smile.

“What are you saying, Viv?”

“I went to the doctor yesterday; she discovered I’m a little further along than originally thought. You will be holding your daughter by mid-March,” she giggled, then almost panicked when Kevin’s legs failed him and gravity started to win. Brian and Nick walked by at that time, catching him before he hit the floor.
