"I was, uh, just wondering if you’d…never mind. It’s nothing, really," she said, looking away from me.
"Wondering if I’d what?" I ask, bending over to look her in the eye. I always have to have some sort of eye contact.
"Well, since you said you’d never been to Scotland, I was wondering if you’d like me to show ya around?" she asks hopefulness in her voice. "My family reunion is only for 2 days, starting tomorrow. I was just going to stay in Scotland for a few weeks & relax. But if you don’t want to, I understand. It was just a suggestion," she explains him.
"I’d like that," I smile at her. Why do I feel so attached… it was just a kiss right??
"Okay. Maybe we can catch a cab at the airport together? I happen to staying at the same hotel," She says, returning my smile. I just want to hug her tightly right there and kiss her deeply. Somehow, don’t ask how, I manage to stay calm.
"That would be great," I say and smile bigger. I realized this girl doesn’t know who I am… to her I am simply a normal man. My smile grows even bigger, if possible, and I hold her hand tightly as we land. We both quickly left the plane, her talking to me about things I should see in Scotland. I realize I am still holding her hand, but it’s okay with me if it’s fine with her.
We finally get to our bags, laughing at a lady near by who is having problems handling her children and suitcases. "Does that cab look good?" I ask, pointing to a cab that is coming to us.
"Yes, but there is no way we are going to get it! I mean, there are so many people…" Suddenly I did the craziest thing, or one of them, I jumped in front of the cab. It stopped suddenly and I tried not to laugh.
"Madam… your cab awaits," I say, bowing slightly as I open the door.
"That was crazy Alex! You could have died or…" she begins but I cut her off with a mind blowing kiss.
"Just get in babe," I say, and help her in. Then I put our bags in the trunk and I hop in myself, sitting close to her.
