Dragonball Series: How many ships are there!?

  • Do Saiyan Spacepods regerate? It certainly seems so. Let's keep track of the appearing spacepods:
  • Goku arrives in one and it is shown self-destructing.
  • Then Raddiz arrives in one and it is blown up by Gohan.
  • And of course the arrival of Vegeta and Nappa, Nappa's self-destructs and Vegeta leaves in his.
  • So... What is with these other two?! Piccolo blows a spacepod up,commenting: '...Goku's old space ship...' when it was already long ago busted and blown to bits. Dr. Briefs also comments on using a 'spacepod' to help build the one Goku traveled to Namek in, but how could that be? Goku's already selfdestructed or was blown up by Piccolo!

Final Fantasy 7: A 'Spelling' Situation

  • A common mistype that I find among most sites is the mispell of KOR, the Ultimate Summon in Final Fantasy 7. Due to a mis-translation, it is called Knights of Round. Usually webmasters add in 'the' and call it KOTR or Knights of the Round.
  • A misspell in the game itself occurs when you use the Sense Materia. Instead of the top of the screen saying 'Sense' it says 'Sence.'

Final Fantasy 8: Witch is witch?

  • In Japan Final Fantasy 8 is about witches not sorceresses.(So that's why they have black hair!) Although I'm not sure as to why they made this little change, it may even by the resault of a mistranslation error. But who knows?

    Pokemon: Cynda-Rashi!

  • Going back to it's Japanese roots is what Cyndaquil appears to be doing in the 'Pokemon: Master Quest' episode called 'Got Milktank?' In Japan Cyndaquil's name is Hinoarashi (Fire Storm) and in one scene, instead of saying his American name, he actually says his Japanese one!
