Firstly, I heard of a very... different rumor recently. I hear that there will be a release of FF 7 part 2. Also, I heard that Yuffie is going to be the main character. I personally think this is all just a story being passed about from person to person. There were NEVER any announcments about it's arrival. I know as a fact that FF 10 part 2 is coming though.
A long time thing on my Rumors-to-crack-list is the famous 'Red' Chocobo in FF7. It is said that this Chocobo can ride in the submarine... right... I think someone was really bored to have come up with this.
