Indecision
She looks at you now through the eyes of a friend
a friend with a lingering weight in her eyes
She sees all that is happening, feels your suffering
knows the decaying starved corpse you've become
She treads softly, rehearsing carefully her every word
knows she musn't err nor forget the rules
Se supresses her heartache to diminish your own
Death she never mentions in your presence
You drape a veil of secrecy over her life
but she's seen the skeleton in your closet
She is your vault, you fill her up and lock her tight
You believe her a bottomnless storage place
yet, she's bursting aat the seems, must betray your trust
but here, fear comes into play, you trust her
if she decieved you, you would have nothing left
except a new weariness of life, a stronger urge to die
a defeat of her purpose, so she does nothing
in her every waking moment she listens to your woes
tries to console you
denies your self erosion
she wants to help you
she tries to help you
she knows she cannot alone
