The Dingoes

Dingoes Ate my Baby is the band Oz plays lead guitar for. The lead singer is a shallow guy named Devon, who briefly dated Cordelia. There's also a bassist and a drummer, but we never meet them. The Dingoes are regulars at the Bronze playing for events such as the cultural dance and the Valentines day dance. Oz has said a few times that the band isn't very good, but everyone still seems to like them.

Four Star Mary

Four Star Mary is the awesome band who provides the music for the Dingoes. Honestly, FSM rocks my socks!!! (All info from Four Star Mary UK.

Dingoes Ate my Baby Quotes

Jock: Cordelia! You going to the bronze tonight?
Cordelia: Not with you.
Harmony: But we're still going right?
Cordette: Who's playing?
Harmony: Dingoes Ate My Baby.
Cordette: They rock!
-unaired pilot

Buffy: Is the band any good?
Xander: Well, they don't know any actual chords yet, but they have really big amps. But it's always a good time, though.
-unaired pilot

Willow: Oz has his cool hair tonight! I think I'm a groupie!
-Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered

Faith: What are you two so mopey about?
Xander: Oh, we're not mopey. We're groovin'. On Oz's band. He's a great guy, Oz.
Willow: He wrote this song for me.
-Homecoming

Devon: Man, we need a roadie. Other bands have roadies.
Oz: Well, other bands know more than three chords. Your professional bands can play up to six, sometimes seven *completely* different chords.
Devon: That's just, like, fruity jazz bands.
-Dopplegangland

Freddy: You're not here about the review?
Oz: The review?
Freddy: Yeah. Last Thursday.
Oz: (reading) Dingoes Ate My Baby play their instruments as if they have plump polish sausages taped to their fingers.
Freddy: Sorry man.
Oz: No, it's fair.
-Earshot

Oz: Oh, I sorta test well. Y'know, which is cool. E-except that it leads to jobs.
Willow: Well, don't you have some ambition?
Oz: Oh, yeah! Yeah. E-flat, diminished ninth.
Willow: Huh?
Oz: Well, the E-flat, it's, it's doable, but that diminished ninth, y'know, it's a man's chord. Now, you could lose a finger.
-What's my Line Part 2

Willow: Do you guys, uh, have a gig tonight?
Oz: Oh, no. Practice. See, our band's kinda moving towards this new sound where... we suck, so... practice.
Willow: I think you guys sound good.
Oz: Thanks.
Willow: I bet you have a lot of groupies.
Oz: It happens. Now, I'm living groupie-free nowadays. I'm clean.
