Buffy:"Oh, come on! This is Sunnydale! How bad an evil can there be here?"

After being expelled from her L.A. high school, Buffy Summers moves with her mom, Joyce Summers to the small suburb of Sunnydale, California. Buffy is to Chosen one, the vampire slayer. But now, her watcher is dead, and she wants to put all that vampire stuff behind her, and start a normal life in Sunnydale. Unfortunately, the Hellmouth, other name for Sunnydale, and her new watcher Rupert Giles, decided otherwise.







Xander:"Okay, this is where I have a problem. See, because we're talking about vampires. We're having a *talk* with vampires in it."

While on a rescue mission to get her friend Jessie back from vampires who kidnapped him, Buffy finds out about a very old vampire called the Master. He's been trapped in the Hellmouth for a very long time and will be able to escape during a mythical event called The Harvest. Buffy as to stop The Harvest from happening to keep the Master from rising.







Xander:"I laugh in the face of danger. Then I hide until it goes away.

It's cheerleaders try out time. But this year, strange things seem to happen. One of the aspiring cheerleaders even burst into flames! After a couple of other strange events, Giles is suspecting that one of the cheerleaders might be a witch using her powers to get in the squad. At first, they think Amy Madison is the one casting the spells, but they later find out that it's actually Amy's mom, who switched bodies with her daughter to relive her days of glory.







Xander:"It's funny how the Earth never opens up and swallows you when you want it to."

Xander already start getting himself into trouble when he falls for the new substitute, Miss French. After a couple of boys disappear and the biology teacher's head is found in the lunch room fridge, Giles and Buffy start having doubts about the new teacher. Giles remembers a story about a creature with the characteristics of a praying mantis. Fortunately, Buffy, Giles and Willow get to Miss French's basement in time to save Xander and the other guys from a horrible faith.







Buffy:"If the apocalypse comes, beep me."

Buffy have a date with Owen. The cute mysterious guy in school that all the girls want. But her night out is cut short when the Scoobies show up at The Bronze to tell the Slayer that Giles is in trouble at the funeral home. She tries to get there as fast as possible, telling Owen to go home. But her stubborn date decides to follows her. Fortunately, they all make it. But Owen tasted the thrill of danger and wants more. To protect him, Buffy has to tell him they can't see each other. The life of a Slayer is cruel...






Buffy: "it's safe to say that in his animal state his idea of wooing doesn't involve a Yanni CD and a bottle of Chianti."

A visit of Sunnydale’s zoo during a school activity takes a strange turn for Xander after him and a few other kids visit the hyenas. Xander and the school bullies are possessed by the animals, and form a pack. But the sudden change in Xander’s personality alarm Buffy and gets Giles to do some research to find out what’s going on with Xander, and how to get him back to his nice, goofy, self.







Darla: "So many body parts, so few bullets. Let's begin with the kneecaps. No fun dancing without them."

After fighting by Angel’s side, Buffy takes him to her house to take care of his injury. But just when their relationship takes a more romantic turn as he kisses her, he vamps out. Buffy has the shock of her life and scream, but he’s gone. The next day, the Scoobies do some research on him in the library. But when Buffy find out her mother has been attacked by a vampire in her own house, she automatically blames Angel and goes to kill him. (unfortunately, she doesn’t…)







Giles: "Things involved with a computer fill me with a childlike terror. Now, if it were a nice ogre or some such I'd be more in my element."

Lonely Willow meets someone off the internet and finds out exactly why it’s never a good idea to meet people this way. When she goes to meet her internet friend in person, he turns out to be some kind of demon trapped in the computer. Weird world... (can you say: not the best episode ever?)









Buffy: "Giles, unto every generation is born one who must run the annual talentless show. You cannot escape your destiny."

The hateful new Principal of Sunnydale High, Mr. Snyder, punish Buffy, Xander and Willow for not being in class by forcing them to participate in the annual talent show. But they have better things to do than rehearsing when people are found dead. And of course, everything leads to a participant of the talent show.








Xander: "You are a lousy clown! Your balloon animals are pathetic! Everyone can make a giraffe!"

Sunnydale High's students are plagued by their worse nightmares. Buffy and the Scoobies have to face their deepest fears, while trying to find what is causing all that commotion. Who knew that Xander was afraid of Clowns? And Giles is terrified of his Slayer getting killed… And what is that little boy doing walking around Sunnydale High while he’s supposed to be in a coma at the hospital?









Giles: "You know, I... I don't recall ever seeing you here before."
Cordelia: "Oh, no, I have a life."

Who said popularity isn’t important? A girl who's been ignored for all her life suddenly finds herself turning invisible. She can finally make her dreams of revenge come true. And of course, who'd be surprise to find out that Queen C herself is her main target?









Buffy: "I may be dead, but I'm still pretty. Which is more than I can say for you."

While translating a prophecy, Giles discover that Buffy will die fighting the Master. What kind of reaction a sixteen years old will have to a news like that? But facing her destiny, the Slayer chooses her duty over life and go face the Master. What the prophecy didn't plan was that this particular Slayer has friends and those friends aren’t willing to let her die that easily.
