Deimos is the source of all magic on Earth. At first, he was a non-sentient alien that resided beneath the Earth's surface and fed on magic produced by himself and magnified through human use. Eventually, though, Deimos gained intelligence and proceeded to attempt to take over the world, first by brute force, then through Ragnarok. He was killed once by the Silver Dragons, then revived mysteriously in a land known as Ethereal.
Deimos is extremely intelligent and powerful, and due to the fact that magic used almost constantly on Earth, he continues to gain more power. Magic is almost useless against him, and his metallic hide repels most weapons.
