Fate was born in the mid-1800s but survived due to her finding of Fate's Ring, the mythical item that embodies the powers of destiny into the young girl who finds it. Fate has served in this position since, and would have stayed completely out of the view of the world if not for the scandalous plans of one of her Magistrates, or otherworldly assistants, named Meklos. To stop Meklos and his band, Fate enlisted the help of the Silver Dragons. The Dragons defeated the rebellious Magistrates, earning Fate's gratitude. She has helped them several times since, even lending her skill with a swallow to the fights in Ragnarok, Norse "End of the World." Fate is the only one who can give permission for humans and other living beings to enter Hades, realm of demons, for the several purposes that can be fulfilled there. She, after a while, marries Demetrius, the third (and final) Angel of Death, and they have four daughters, Charity, Melody, Harmony, and Grace.
