Kubain is a machine made from the mind of a tortured sorcerer, Devlin Kubain. As he died, he vowed to return to scourge the earth one day. Eventually, his soul found a home in a Osiris-brand guard droid. The reborn Kubain began to terrorize the world... only to be stopped dead in his tracks by the SDs, the Neo-SDs, and the Iron Wyverns. He swore his revenge on them by promising their destruction for interfering with his plans of destruction.
Contrary to his looks, Kubain is very powerful. His mastery of mechanical weaponry and vast knowledge of magic allow him to simulate any type of spell for his own use. There are very few spells he cannot mimic, but the ones he cannot copy he can attempt to overpower. He is also legally insane and should never be faced without regard of the dangers involved. Kubain has one living decendant - Zana.
