Son of one of the Mars Temple Gurus and a demoness, Phobos was rejected by his own people and grew up mostly alone. He became a powerful wandering warrior, especially with his weapon of choice, his father's sledgehammer. He put himself through several odd quests, including defeating 70 demons singlehandedly and taming the Phobos Dragon, the beast in the crater of Phobos Mountain, near the Temple. 
After defeating these seemingly unbeatable odds, Phobos had one last challenge ahead of himself - destroy Deimos, source of all magic. However, Deimos proved too powerful and defeated Phobos on his first try. Immediately afterward, Deimos was defeated by the Silver Dragons. Enfuriated, Phobos declared his own personal war on the Dragons, chasing them for several months before kidnapping their children and locking them in his Labyrinth, a gigantic maze.
After all his attempts to succeed the Silver Dragons failed, Phobos joined up with Deimos for a short time. Eventually, the dastardly alien doublecrossed Phobos, and he repented and joined the Luminienne Rebellion. There, he married Daina Hishari and became a captain in the Luminienne Army.
