Kel watched
as the others talked to the newcomers. Some of them looked a little like
Scanrans. Could they be Scanran spies? She didn't know.
"Could someone please help
me over here! I broke my leg, for your information NEAL!!!!" shouted
Kel.
"Umm, well I better go Heal
her leg. She usually never loses her temper, an odd but welcome trait in a
knight, but when she is hurt, she can get a little bit crabby," said
Neal.
"A little? And she is a
knight!?!?" said Sirius.
"What? She is a knight, as
am I, and Cleon."
"Whatever you say, even
though knights are like, 600 years ago!"
"Umm…"
"What?"
"Knights are highly
respected in my world. You must treat us with proper respect and…"
"Oh, Neal. Just do us a
favor and shut up. And Heal my leg!" said Kel. "Otherwise I shall
be forced to see if Numair can do anything about it!"
"I can fix up that leg for
you!" exclaimed Sirius, running over to Kel. He waved his wand and
muttered locomotor reparo.
"Hey! My leg feels better!
It didn't even hurt to have it Healed!" said Kel.
"How in the name of Mithros
did you do that?" questioned Neal.
"Mithros?"
"One of many Gods in our
worlds. But never mind that. How did you heal her?" asked Neal again.
"I am a wizard. What did you
think I was? A monkey? We all are wizards or witches!"
"Ohh…" said Neal.
Kel got to her feet. "Thank
you very much…Sirius?"
"Sirius Black at your
service!"
"Sorry I didn't remember
your name. I was paying more attention to my leg than to the introductions
because Neal forgot to heal it!" Kel glared at Neal.
"Glad to be of
assistance."
"Well, I better make sure I
have everything! I might have lost something during that d*** fall. Let me
see…sword, check…dagger, check…bow and arrows, check…I think I have
everything!"
"You still use bows and
arrows?" said Sirius, amazed.
"Yeah. What else are we
going to use?"
"A gun. No duh!"
"What??? What are
guns???"
"Never mind."
"Well, if you are done
talking, I would like to speak to you Kel," said a girl whose hair was
purple.
"Sure. Sorry, but I don't
know your name. I was too busy worrying about my leg," Kel shot a glare
once again at Neal, "because someone had forgotten to Heal my leg!"
"My name is Michelle. I was
wondering where we are."
