Housing

• aquarium with fine mesh screen lid is best
• allow at least 10gal per pair
• can be kept in small groups or pairs if introduced at a young age
• Bedding: white reptile sand mixed with chinchilla dust
• Accessories: solid wheel, nest box, chews, tunnels, hideaways

Food

• feed a mixture of high quality finch and canary seed mix and some crushed rodent block
• fresh fruits and veggies once weekly
• occassional kitten kibble

Breeding

• Maturity: 2-3 months old
• Gestation: 21-24 days
• Litter size: 1-3
• eyes open around 14 days old
• should be fully weaned by 5 weeks old
