Natural range: Arabian peninsula

Housing

• aquarium with mesh screen lid is best
• allow at least 20gal per trio
• can be kept in same sex groups or pairs if introduced at a young age
• Bedding: aspen
• Accessoires: solid wheel, chews, tunnels, hideaways

Food

• feed a mixture of high quality rodent seed mix and some rodent blocks
• timothy hay
• occassional kitten kibble

Breeding

• Maturity: 2-3 months old
• Gestation: 21-24 days
• Litter size: 2-6
• eyes open around 12-14 days old
• should be fully weaned by 5-6 weeks old
