Housing

• large rabbit or cavy-type cage with solid bottom
• very territorial and should be housed individually
• Bedding: aspen
• Accessories: solid chinchilla wheel, hideaway, wood chews

Food

• quality commercial rodent seed mix, rodent blocks and some cat kibble
• fresh fruit or veggies weekly
• occassional cricket or mealworm

Breeding

• Maturity: 2 months old
• Gestation: 19-21 days
• Litter size: 4-12
• eyes open at about 14 days old
• should be fully weaned by 5 weeks old
