These are my four female fancy mice. All of them are quite tame and spoiled rotten. They live in a 20gal long tank with lots of branches, tubes, hideaways and of course a wheel. They are fed the Mazuri Rat and Mouse diet, along with full millet sprays, fresh veggies, seed mix and timothy hay as treats.
Spazz is a black pied Satin that came from PetSmart. As her name suggests, she is very energetic and did not like being handled at all for months after I got her. She has since settled down enough for me to handle and pet her. She is the dominant one of the group.
Sugar is an albino. She was a 'feeder bin' mouse at Doogan's pet store. She was very small and underweight when I got her, but has an awesome personality and loves to be held.
Spice is a silver agouti Satin I got from a local breeder. She is very friendly and curious, and will climb up onto anyone's hand that is offered.
Tabu is best described as a black-tan, though her markings are not perfect. She was actually a wild house mouse that one of my cats brought home as a 3-4 week old pup. I intended on nursing her to health and releasing her but was shocked at how calm and affectionate she was. After a two-month quarunteen and a de-parasite treatment, she became a pet and others were added to keep her company.
