Housing

• aquarium with fine mesh screen lid
• allow at least 10gal per trio
• do best in pairs or small groups
• Bedding: aspen
• Accessories: small mouse wheel, branches, tubes, hideaways

Food

• high quality mix of canary and parakeet seed mixes
• timothy hay
• offer whole millet sprays once every other week
• fresh veggies once weekly

Breeding

• Maturity: 8 weeks old
• Gestation: 20-23 days
• Litter size: 2-5
• eyes open around 12-15 days old
• should be fully weaned by 3 weeks old
