Housing

• aquarium with mesh lid is best
• allow 10gal per trio
• can be kept in same-sex pairs or groups if introduced at a young age
• Bedding: aspen
• Accessories: wheel, hideaway, tubes, wood chew

Food

• high quality commercial seed mix, rodent blocks and some cat kibble
• fresh fruit or veggies weekly

Breeding

• Maturity: 6-8 weeks old
• Gestation: 20-22 days
• Litter size: 2-6
• generally males are co-opertive with taking care of the young
• eyes open about 14 days old
• should be fully weaned by 4 weeks old
