White-footed Mouse
The white-footed mouse is a sub-species of the deer mouse, and while they are similar the white-foot tends to be more docile. They can be harder to accustom to handling however. They can make good pets and are fun to watch as they love to jump around and playfight.

Housing
- aquarium with mesh lid is best
- allow 10 gal per trio
- females should live in pairs or colonies
- males can be housed together if introduced when young
- Bedding: aspen
- Accessories: wheel, branches, hideaway, tubes, chews
Food
- mixture of quality rodent blocks and commercial rodent seed mix
- fresh friut or veggies weekly
- occassional kitten kibble
Breeding
- Maturity: 5-6 weeks
- Gestation: 21-27 days
- Litter size: 3-6
- eyes open at about a week old
- pups should be weaned by 3 weeks
