Burnt Island was a low green island. When found, it seemed to have no other inhabitants than a few rabbits and goats. There were some ruined stone huts found, though, and also blackened spots on the ground suggesting places where fires had been. It was thought to have been recently populated by what was guessed to be pirates or maybe Dwarfs. On this island is where Reepicheep found his small coracle that he used to sail into Aslan's country.
