The Land of the Duffers was a well kept island. It contained a sandy beach, many trees, and a short, smooth lawn. Pigeons seem to have inhabited the island, along with the more prominent residents, the Duffers. These creatures kept the island clean for their master, Coriakin. Coriakin's house was the only house on the island. His house was a long, gray house with a path leading up to it. It was two stories high and featured many windows. The house was made up of mellow stones covered with ivies.
