The Road to Fairyland
Ernest Thompson Seton

Do you seek the road to Fairyland
I'll tell; it's easy, quite.
  Wait till a yellow moon gets up
 O'er purple seas by night,
And gilds a shining pathway
That is sparkling diamond bright
Then, if no evil power be night
To thwart you, out of spite,
And if you know the very words
To cast a spell of might,
And, if the breeze if right,
You sail away to Fairyland
Along this track of light.

Fearie Magick

As the night winds surround the air
the fearies begin to emerge,
waking up from the day's rest.

At night is when the magick happens,
when the season's change....

When we are all asleep, they
cross through the vale of the unknown
to visit the world at peace.

As the whimsical
night desends,
and the sun again
rises to his peak,
the faeries dance the last circle
as they spin back into sleep.

By the moone we sport and play,
With the night begins our day;
As we daunce, the dew doth fall;
Trip it little urchins all,
Lightly as the little Bee,
Two by two and three by three:
And about go wee, and about go wee.
