How I got this M-rated game

By our tweens reporter:

When my daddy took me shopping for Christmas, I picked up Grand Theft Auto:Vice City and put it in the shopping basket. He didn’t really look at it, and bought it for me.
I had played the game before, at a friend’s house, and really liked it.
Then there was trouble. There was a program on TV, in which the game was given a bad rating. My father heard the reviewer say that he would shoot the people who made this game. It was such a bad influence on children.
So he gave me a choice: “Return it and get 2 games instead of it, or keep it.” Naturally, I decided to keep it. I thought about it- daddy trusts me so I guess I'd just take it because it IS a fun game.
He let me play with it because he trusted me. He knew that I won’t do anything in the game in real life. Because I WON'T.

ABOUT THE GAME

The main character is an adult and he's a gangster. I don't want to be a gangster.
I want to be a successful person.
In the missions he is successful because he’s strong and he can drive cars; when I play, the more missions I do and the farther I am, I feel I am farther in the game and I don't think about him.
But I do feel he drives good because I control him to drive good. The boat, at least.
Playing this game has no impact on my life. It just makes me have fun.
At school, I talk to my friends about the game. We discuss each mission and sometimes they help me with the ones I'm stuck on.
I don't know if my sister would like this game, but if she does, I'll let her play when she's mature enough; just as long as she won't do anything bad; and only play the game and not do the things in real life.

What do you think? Should I have returned the game and got two other games? Which ones?
