       
Christmas is my next to favorite time of the year.
I especially love the smells emanating from the kitchens,
from the aromas of freshly baked apple and pumpkin pies
to the sweet smell of orange potpourri simmering on the stove.
I love the excitement of the children at the local mall
as they await Santa's lap, so anxious to tell St. Nick
what they want him to bring them this Christmas.
I love the feeling that Christmas brings,
a love of fellow mankind.
Lastly, the thing I love most about Christmas
is the reason for the season: Jesus Christ.

I love the smell of freshly cut Christmas trees!
The smell of pine or cedar always brings back childhood memories
of Christmas. As a child, I couldn't wait to decorate the tree
and see what kind of beauty would be transformed! I can still
hear my husband cautioning me about the icicles, the last thing
to go on the tree. "Put them on one at a time. That makes the
tree so much prettier than having them all globbed together!"
I love the look in my childrens eyes when they open presents,
I love telling the story of baby Jesus to my children.
This is what Christmas means to me.

and may not make it until Christmas. He has touched so many lifes
in the last few day. Silverfox, my friend even if you leave us
before Christmas, I want you to know you have already given me the

and I'm sure every one in our channel will agree with me.
Being your friend and knowing you is the best gift you
