Ok, which Retro-gamer has NOT heard of Lemmings? I'm expecting no hands up here. Lemmings has been on multi-platforms from the Amiga to Playstation (Where it met it's end). Literally, the game couldn't transfer into 3D and so the Lemmings were eradicatted. So here we shall commemorate their original 2D brilliance. Welcome to the world of Lemmings. The world where you have to try to save countless fools from dropping off of cliffs and running into fire. But why...must...we...save...them when killing them is SO good!?
ROAREYE!

This is the first ever Lemmings game and set the survival series up for a blast. The little greena nd blue lemmings were so cute that they deserved pain...
Amiga
Awesome for it's time. This is now a great game, but doesn't quite have the excellence of it's more remembered brother, Lemmings 2 The Tribes. However, the music is a classical style, which usually suits the mood and makes you concentrate more. The graphics are ok and the gameplay and longevity is well over average. This isn't the best one ever made, but it is one of the most memorable games ever made. Just play and remenice. Then kill them!

This was actually the second game in the series, but wasn't very well known. Christmas Lemmings 93 & 94 was basically what it says on the box. A Christmas Version of Lemmings.
Amiga
It has been changed slightly from the original. But it still holds the charm that it's original had. The music is still classical but, yes, the style is Christmas themed. It's well done. Also the graphics are basically the same as it's predeccesor except that the lemmings now wear little red Santa-Claus hats. It's quite sweet (If you're a cutesy person). The longevity is actually slightly lower than it's original but the gameplay is just as compulsive. But everytime you look at this, you can't help but smile.

The final 2D Lemmings game was the last ever to hit the big-time. With added extras and improved graphics, this was bound to be a memorable hit.
Amiga
This was packed with SO many more extras to it's original. The graphics were re-vamped and look much better, the music has been improved on to a great degree, and the sound-effects are more than superb. The longevity is amazing. You'll take years completing it, then you'll need to get all Golds! The gameplay just surpasses it's predessor(Which is VERY hard) and the extras were not only needed, but greatly appreciated. Never has the Lemmings world ever been so expansive, spanning over 12 level types from Future to Classic! A definate buy for anyone with an Amiga!
