Hiro
Notice My Mind
1. Notice My Mind
The first thing you will notice when listening to this song is that it sounds like a lot of other Hiro songs. Her voice is still good, in fact it seems to improve with every song, but this song just feels like you've heard it before. It's about time Hiro started making more mature music, but its just not happening. Coupled with the cliche backup singers and an uninspiring saxophone solo, this song just didn't strike me as one of Hiro's best. I really like Hiro, and I hope her next single is a bit more creative than this one.

2. More Close, More Feel
Why does this song have those strange little sound effects in the background? They sound almost like video game sounds. And then there's the cute little chimes. I mean, I like cuteness to a point, but Hiro needs to start sounding her age. This song almost annoys me, just because it is so stereotypical. Songs like this are the reason us Jpop fans get made fun of. Hiro's voice is very pretty, but really this song isn't very good. It's not terrible, but... oh, Hiro!! What happened to great songs like "As Time Goes By?"

The last two tracks are, of course, instrumentals, perfect for your karaoke needs. That is, if you like to karaoke annoying songs. Err... I think I better stop now.
