Smash Mouth's Music

Smash Mouth's members vary in music likings. Their singer enjoys reggae and loves elvis, their bassist enjoys punk and ska, and their guitarist likes anything that sounds good to him. With so many different opinions, it is impossible for their writer Greg Camp to stay on one type of music. So their songs are mixed up in so many different styles, Smash Mouth has almost created their own category of music. A mixture of rock, pop, ska, raggae, alternative, heavy and so on. Just more reason to enjoy their music. Also in their songs, Smash Mouth is not heading to convince suidcide or any sort of violence. Their music is just suggesting to have fun.

Fush Yu Mang This is mostly a punk/ska Cd, jam packed with fast energetic songs, such as Flo, Beer Goggles and Push. This CD will never get old. It also holds their first big hit Walkin' On The Sun, and another overlooked hit, Nervous In The Alley, which suggested the CD. Greg Camp provides many angry and sometimes funny songs on this first album, and it is quite explicit compared to their later CDs. But it is worth a look.

Astro Lounge Their second CD, slowed down a bit with a wider variety of music styles. It has a Sci-Fi theme with wicked background sounds like spaceships flying and robotic noises. One of its best features is the song plots, hitting you with meanings you'd never suspect. With very few love songs and more songs about partying, UFOs, hangovers, psycotic truck drivers, and the ups and downs of the radio. It also has song styles you'd never expect from the last CD. They have reggae, heavy rock, pop rock and a dash of ska. This CD is probably one of their best, with a keyboardest recruited and their biggest hit yet, All Star, which is the main reason half the teens in America own Astro Lounge.

Smash Mouth The ultimate Smash Mouth CD and my personal favorite. Their 3rd and self titled album rocks the music industry with kicking songs like Sister Phychic, Holiday In My Head, Pacific Coast Party, Force Feild and Shoes N' Hats. If your looking for an awesome rock CD with unbelievably unique melodies, buy this CD! It has slow, fast and medium speed songs, with funny themes, serious themes and angry themes. Greg Camp squeezes through again, mastering the art of songwriting. This CD is perfectly mixed from track 1 to 13. I highly suggest this CD. Already it has had 3 hits! Please consider it!
