The Fun House TV Week March 9-15 2002

Speaking of people who make us laugh, home grown talent Wil Anderson. host of the ABC's current affairs comedy show, The Glasshouse, says his first career ambition was to be a ballet dancer.

"I didn't know what it was exactly, but i knew it was somewhere you went to have fun and there were lots of girls there." says Wil.

"My father was a dairy farmer and i was determined to find a job where i didn't have to get up at 5am and milk cows- the ultimate irony is that i get up at 4am to do breakfast radio!"

As well as his work on radio station Triple J and The Glasshouse, he also has a hectic stand-up comedy schedule.

"At the moment i have three full-time jobs," he says. "It's exhausting but a lot of fun. I would be much more depressed if i had more sleep but had to work in a law firm. Doing comedy is a beautiful job"
