I've Seen It All.....

I've traveled fast, I've traveled slow

Over this wonderful world of ours

I've traveled high, I've traveled low

Passing over the highest towers

I've seen many sights along the way

As I pass over land and sea

There are many things that I have seen

That have a great effect upon me

I watched the world's creation

God held out His mighty hand

I watched him put fish in the waters

And man upon the land

I watched as Noah built his ark

Put the animals in two by two

I watched the day with a saddened heart

When Jesus died on a cross for you

I've watched many wars and many fights

When soldiers fought hard and long

They were fighting for your freedom

They were young, but they were strong

O watched the end of slavery

God's people were freed once more

When the confederates were defeated

In the American civil war

I've watched assassinations

And I've heard the people cry

I've watched all of these injustices

From my place up in the sky

Now I'm watching a new creation

People turning away from sin

Trying to make everything safer

A better world for you to live in

I watch as people embrace each other

As they go about their daily lives

The bond children have with their mother's

And husbands stand by their wives

I've watched a budding flower grow

Heard a new baby cry out loud

I'm watching all these wondrous things

I can, for I am a cloud.
