Above is Toyfare Magazine's September 2001 article on LEGO taking on licensed properties. The top of the page shows GI Joe LEGO. Nice try... I had a full line of custom LEGO GI Joe & COBRA figures and vehicles completed before this issue hit the stands. My pictures were already all over the net for a year on the boards and customs section of American Dreams Comics and my second website was developed and launched around this same time. Thats over 35 vehicles and nearly 100 unique minifigures made plus the time it took to take 10 photographs of each vehicle and individual photographs of each figure, then make my new website before this issue made print.
