Set priorities and foster teamwork within the region demonstrating leadership by providing training, motivation and coaching for your direct reports. Recruit and hire top performers. To interview and recommend candidates for Regional and General Manager positions. Identifying and developing a base of promotable employees. Train and develop employees to consistently deliver Indigo customer satisfaction and exceed performance expectations. Ensure established merchandising guidelines are executed to maximize sales and profits. Conduct analysis and provide input for improving stock mix and inventory productivity. Resolve customer complaints directed to home office. To participate as a member of the Retail Operations team in the overall development of Retail Store Strategy and budget. AND YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS : Several years experience in retail, including direct experience managing operations in a superstore environment or previous multi-unit management experience. Post-secondary education is a definite asset. Excellent information systems understanding and human resource management. Proven record of profitability and budget management. Belief in accountability and ownership; understands that one's action is a role model for all others in the organization. Desire to continuously learn and improve what and how we operate. Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, decision making and organizational skills. "Hands-on" approach; creative and innovative approach to problem solving.
